It’s Now or Never

Well, we open “On Golden Pond” at The Hickory Community Theatre one week from today. I’ve been pretty good about not “nerding out” too much about acting with one of my favorite childhood icons. But, it’s now or never. Dukes Of Hazzard & Dallas were my favorite shows. Both topped the ratings. My cousin and I wanted to be Bo & Luke Duke and pretended we were the Duke boys so much so that we even bought John Schneider’s LP of “It’s Now or Never.” We wore that thing out and we’ll wear your ears out with this old 1981 cassette recording of us trying to sing it! Holy Mackinoly, I was 7 at the time! It’s been an absolute pleasure and honor working with James Best, Norma Frank, Dorothy Collier-Best, the entire cast & crew, and the always brilliant Pamela Livingstone. @hickorytheatre #ongoldenpond
